I will post another update tomorrow night about how things are going with Tim and Evan right now. Enjoy looking at our "spring break vacation!" :-)
Where'd She Go????
In the summer of 2008, we hosted a wonderful 9-year old boy from Ukraine. He went back to his country with our hearts, and we stayed in the U.S. to fill out a mountain of paperwork to adopt him. In April and May, 2009, we flew to Ukraine to bring him home with us. He is now our son! We created this blog initially to update friends and family about our adoption progress. Now we will use it to keep you updated on Evan's progress to be an all-American kid!

We love the pictures! Congrats!
Congrats! What a lovely picture of the three of you! Enjoyed hearing about the process - and the adventure. Cabbage...just like Busia and our great-aunts and uncles from Poland loved to eat!
Colleen, last summer when we had a translator talk to Evan for us on the way to see my dad, we asked her what were some Ukrainian foods we'd recognize. I was happy to hear her describe stuff like Kielbasa and also Golabki (stuffed cabbage rolls that Aunt Margie makes!)Polaski days in Grand Rapids here we come!!!
Thanks for writing! Kathy
